We have a strong love for basketball and the doors that it can open outside of the game itself. We love to give current and former players, coaches, artists, and historians their recognition and the platform they deserve to tell their story and teach our listeners about the game and applying lessons we learn from hoops to everyday life. We don't care for hot takes, we don't care for debates but we do care about giving back to the game and giving people the recognition they deserve for their hard work, dedication, their experiences and their knowledge to give our listeners and ourselves a better understanding of the game, the business, and life beyond hoops. Played against Ricky in regional finals while he was playing for College of Southern Idaho. The game started when we got the tip with our 7’ center Craig Martin from Corvallis Oregon tapping the ball to our All League guard Jim Davidson. Davidson dribbled the ball to the top of the key and quickly passed the ball to the wing to 5’ 11” guard Mark Peterson from McMinnville Oregon. Peterson went up for a jumper and out of nowhere Ricky blocks the shot, grabs the ball and throw a behind the back pass to a teammate heading to the rim for a dunk..it got worse from there…but what a memory. We played for Linn-Benton Community College from Albany, Oregon.
